The vote was shamlessly rigged by Republicans to end up 59-40 - no way it was going to pass with or without Kerry. If you believe Reps. would have left it up to Kerry's vote you are naive indeed.

Did anyone get a chance to listen to Kerry on the phone this morning with Don Imus? I listened to it but this guy is so incredibly dull that he makes Lieberman look exciting. He'll be a name on a future trivial pursuit game in ten years. Nobody will get the answer to the question "who got his ass handed to him in the 2004 election?". Good luck libs, with this guy. HAHAHA
